Founder
William Ong is a senior investment professional with over 15 years of buy-side experience spanning investment performance, risk analytics, and data — built across institutions in Australia, the United Kingdom, and Singapore.

Prior to founding Alpha Aletheia, William held senior roles at Prudential, Eastspring Investments, and Nomura Asset Management, where he oversaw regional investment risk and performance functions across London, Tokyo, Frankfurt, Singapore, and Malaysia.Â

His work has spanned the design of group-wide investment oversight frameworks, digital and data transformation programmes, and the development of analytical capabilities that directly support portfolio management and governance. He has worked alongside CIOs, COOs, and investment teams at institutions managing assets in excess of $500 billion.

William holds the CFA and CIPM designations. He founded Alpha Aletheia to bring practitioner-level expertise — without the overhead of a large consulting firm — directly to the clients who need it most.
